About Me

Hello! My name is Ivette Lopez. I am a senior in the Nursing Assistant program at Southeast Career Technical Academy. Over the past four years, I have had the priveledge of creating friends with the same ultimate goal: to be successful in the healthcare field providing care to others, taught to have a positive work ethic, and learned from first hand experience that hard work and determination goes a long way in reaching your goal and getting things done.

I was born February 16, 2002 in Los Angeles California. I moved to Las Vegas, Nevada June 2016 at the age of 14. I started my high school experience in a completely new state. Throughout my school years, I have always tried to get the best grades possible. School has been a priority to me since I could remember. I do enjoy going to school and I care greatly about the knowledge that I obtain at school.

I take part in clubs that matter to me. I enjoy going to state conferences for HOSA and SkillsUSA; it's a great way to network and meet people across the state of Nevada. Aside from clubs, I enjoy working out and dancing! Working out has given me a way to release my stress and to take care of my body.

Fun Fact: I am in the Army National Guard. I enlisted in March 2019 at the age of 17. This past summer, summer of 2019, I was away on active duty at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri for Basic Army Combat Training. Over the course of ten weeks, there were requirements and tests I had to exceed in order to meet the standards to become a soldier.
