Which is better: tampons or pads?

The one colossal advantage that pads have over tampons is that you can safely use them for longer than you'd be able to safely use tampons — which means they're the best choice for sleeping. Tampons left in overnight are a bad and potentially infectious idea, while high-absorbency pads are considered far safer. Other than overnight use, it is up to you whether you want to use pads or tampons. -

Do all vaginas look the same?

Your vulva and vagina are as unique as the rest of your body. Labia (the inner and outer lips) come in all shapes and sizes. People can have dangly labia, puffy labia, or barely-there labia. Some people’s inner labia stick out past their outer labia, and others have inner labia that are more tucked in.

Do I need to shave?

Some people prefer to let it grow, while others trim it, shave it, or wax it. What you do with yours is up to you.

Why does it itch sometimes?

Itching can have causes that aren't due to underlying disease. Examples include hair regrowth, sunburns, insect bites, dry skin, or healing wounds.
